I would find the gems in your dark places 

that you do not know grow there, 

where you are afraid to go, 

that others do not see, 

that no one knows to seek – 

except for those, 

like I, 

who have trod in forbidden spaces 

and returned with riches 

unforeseen, 

unknown, 

unbelieved.
